Aran Carbonel’s recent accomplishment at the Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO) has brought pride to the Philippines. Winning a bronze medal, Aran has now been invited to represent the country at the prestigious SEAMO X 2025 Champions Division, which will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center in Malaysia from January 17-20, 2025.
This achievement is not Aran's first taste of competition. Previously, he participated in the Aloha Mental Arithmetic Philippines mini-Competition, where he competed with over 30 participants from across the country. His dedication to mathematics is matched by his impressive academic performance, showcasing his passion for learning and his drive to succeed.
Beyond academics, Aran is also a talented pianist. Balancing his love for numbers with his musical interests, he continues to excel and inspire others with his well-rounded achievements.
